Google Pack More of the Same
Everything you already had and knoew about bundled together. It’s the Google Pack. Google Earth, Picasa, Google Pack Screensaver, Google Desktop, Google Toolbar for Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox with Google Toolbar, Ad-Aware SE Personal,Adobe Reader 7, and to top it off Norton Antivirus 2005 Special Edition. I tlooks like that one you have to pay for eventually to keep your virus definitions up to date. So, I don’t get it. This is news? Single download for multiple programs? No big deal.

AdSense Content Bidding Separated by Google
Finally, Google allows advertisers to bid separately for clicks from the AdSense network. To gain access to the content targeting option, select a campaign and select “edit settings.”
From within the campaign settings screen, if you select the content network, a second box appears allowing you to set content bids separately. If you don’t select the separate content bids box, Google uses you regular search bids.
Bids for content are made and recognized at the AdGroup level, which makes sense because the AdSense targeting engine also works on the AdGroup level. AdGroup structure is particularly important if you choose to run content, as any of the keyword concepts in the AdGroup might be used to target the ad.
I have a call into Google to re-confirm that they will continue to use SmartPricing as well as separate bidding.
This does finally open up the ability for marketers to opt into content without having to resort to cumbersome campaigns structures which were a solution used my advertisers prior to this change.
